Hijabsoforeign was founded and created in the Fall of 2018 in Indianapolis, IN during my last semester of university. I wanted to put my passion for fashion into business and wanted to enter the fashion industry to cater to Muslim women who were underrepresented and underserved. Hijab continues to be strange and foreign to many, which is why I chose to use this name in creating a brand catered to not only women who wear Hijab, but to all those who love to wrap their hair whether it be religious, stylish or personal preference. I wanted to create products and pieces that were just as beautiful as each individual by designing and creating high-quality products. I found myself making pieces on my sewing machine at home, and would style models in fashion shows around the city. I have found a love for challenging myself into using different fabrics to create headpieces and hijabs, I have loved seeing these pieces on so many different women and I look forward to this exciting journey.  I hope to continue to create pieces that are versatile to fit your style.
